To maximise synergies, prevent overlaps and enhance impact, seven Horizon Europe projects form a collaborative cluster – ExpoHealthNet. The ExpoHealthNet cluster unites cutting-edge research projects set to investigate how environmental stressors contribute to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as respiratory, cardiovascular, and immune-mediated conditions. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, ExpoHealthNet aims to drive impactful research on the health risks of air pollution, noise, hazardous waste, and climate change.
In its first eleven months, the ENVESOME project has built a strong foundation for advancing integrated exposome research across Europe, laying the groundwork for innovative approaches to understanding the complex interactions between environment and health.
