A collaborative cluster on the role of environmental pollution in non-communicable diseases: air, noise and light and hazardous waste pollution.
To maximise synergies, prevent overlaps and enhance impact, seven Horizon Europe projects form a collaborative cluster – ExpoHealthNet. The ExpoHealthNet cluster unites cutting-edge research projects set to investigate how environmental stressors contribute to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as respiratory, cardiovascular, and immune-mediated conditions. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, ExpoHealthNet aims to drive impactful research on the health risks of air pollution, noise, hazardous waste, and climate change.

Discover the ClimAIr Tool, a web platform combining air quality, climate, and health data to support doctors, planners, and policymakers across Europe.

EXPOSIM partner the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute has established a strategic cooperation with ELWOZ ECO, a company operating in the waste management sector, focusing on advancing occupational health and safety standards in waste sorting plants.
